DONALD W GOSSELINK

I attended the University of Illinois and lived at the AXE House during the 1962-3 school year. My Graduate Advisor was Dr. R. B. Bates. Dr. Bates left Illinois and joined the faculty of the University of Arizona in 1963, and I moved there with him. I graduated from the University of Arizona in 1966 with an Organic Chemistry major/Inorganic Chemistry minor.

I then went to 3M Company in St. Paul , MN for my entire 32 year working career. I started in R&D in copying machine development. Later I held several positions, but always in the realm of Laboratory Management. I retired in 1998.

My wife Denise and I live in St. Paul in the summer, and Tucson in the winter. This allows me to keep in touch with the U of A (Bates is still there doing research) and enjoy golfing--where I compensate for my limited abilities with my enthusiasm for the game.
