"I worked for Monsanto Company for approx 6 years, and am now currently employed as a software developer by the U.S. Government in the Washington, DC area.
"I met my wife at a new member social function at the Zeta house (Mary Gibbons, M.Sc. 1965), and we have one daughter and two grandchildren, who live in the Seattle area.
"We are both very much involved with Toastmasters International and take great pleasure in watching people develop their public speaking skills. Over the years we have traveled over most of Europe and to Australia and New Zealand.
"My major recreational activity is sailing, which I usually do on the Potomac River and occasionally on the Chesapeake Bay."
