UPDATE: A few years ago I resigned my professorship at Chicago State University and joined the ranks of the retired. But I still dabble in chemistry. If you visit the J. Chem. Educ. website you will discover my life-time of publishing. My two most recent articles are on the topics of E = mc2 and carbon footprints.

In retirement I have taken on the cause of protecting our planet from the consequences of global warming. Not an easy task.
