JON MIKIO YATABE

Jon is a Senior Research Scientist at the Lawerence Livermore National Laboratory operated by the University of California, where he conducts initiatives under the auspices of the Department of Energy.

He has two sons, Eric and Brad. Eric is a chemical engineer who works in waste managememnt, and Brad is a recently returned Peace Corps volunteer, who is also a biochemist. Both of his sons are unmarried. Jon lost his wife of 33 years, Maggie, whom many of the brothers knew, about six years ago. He lives in Berkeley with his younger son.
